This past Spring, Pentagram had no choice but to tour as a trio, leaving Bobby Liebling to face consequences that were based on his “personal actions.” Initially we were under the impression that he was going for addiction recovery treatment, however, it was later reported that the singer was placed in a “detention facility” in Maryland instead. He was arrested on April 10th on four charges – first-degree assault, a count of physical abuse of a vulnerable adult, two counts of abuse of a vulnerable adult who was a family member, rumored to be his 87-year-old mother, Diane Liebling.

MetalSucks found the court documents stating that Liebling was sentenced to eighteen months in Maryland’s Montgomery County Detention Center prison and three years probation. Based on the lengthy paperwork, it looks as though the singer took a plea agreement with the prosecutor, resulting in pleading guilty to the abuse and neglect charge and pleading not guilty to his first-degree assault charge.
