Guns N’ Roses will perform at the renowned Apollo Theater in New York City on July 20th. The private event was announced earlier today (21) by Howard Stern during his live SiriusXM show The Howard Stern Show. It’s an invitation-only concert exclusively for SiriusXM subscribers. It was just a few years ago when Metallica performed at the iconic theater. Now, it’s GNR’s turn to make history.

For the many who cannot attend, the event will air live nationwide on SiriusXM’s brand new Guns N’ Roses Radio alongside Howard Stern’s Howard 101 channel.  The fresh new station launches on July 13th, one week prior to their Apollo appearance. The channel will celebrate the 30th anniversary of 1987’s Appetite for Destruction, share live and rare tunes along with featuring artists who influenced the iconic group over the years.
