Adult Swim has always kept their eye on metal, whether it’s having the likes of Glenn Danzig and Zakk Wylde on Aqua Teen Hunger Force or all of Metalocalypse. Then there’s the annual Adult Swim Singles series, in which a new track from an artist is released every week throughout the summer. That’s given us new music from Sleep, Mastodon, Pig Destroyer, Mastodon and Gibby Haynes and Deafheaven, to name a few. The network just announced their sixth annual incarnation of the series, and while there are definitely a few metal  bands among the ranks, it’s a great and diverse lineup overall. Less than two weeks before the release of Repentless, we’ll be getting a new song from Slayer. There will also be new tracks from Thou and Myrkur. This year, however, the program is going even longer, with 19 weeks that will go through October 12. Here’s the release schedule:
