Psycroptic release new single to help save tasmanian devils

Posted by on November 5, 2014

Australian technical death metal band Psycroptic’s sixth album, and first for Prosthetic, won’t be out until Spring of 2015. However, the band released a single for the song “Echoes to Come” yesterday. It’s available via your finer digital retailers, or for streaming below via SoundCloud. It’s pretty incredible. If this is indeed echoes to come from their next album, which will be self-titled, then it’s going to be one hell of an album. Given that the band are from Tasmania, they’ve teamed up with Devil Ark, an organization that’s working to help save tasmanian devils from extinction. Portions of the proceeds from purchase of “Echoes to Come” will be donated to Devil Ark. That’s like a band from Detroit trying to help save the juggalos, but people actually like tasmanian devils.

Psycroptic will be released in Spring of 2015 on Prosthetic Records.
