Italian/Norwegian prog metal virtuoso Demetrio “Dimitry” Scopelliti is set to release his new album, The Revolution of Evolution, on September 21st via FusionCore Records. Dimitry has teamed up with Metal Insider for an exclusive full-album stream ahead of the album’s release.

The record features ten instrumental tracks, representing three years of meticulous work, with Scopelliti once again handling every aspect of the process. From performing all instruments to overseeing production, mixing, and mastering at Skien Lydstudio in Norway, the guitarist showcases his technical mastery.

The Revolution of Evolution also features contributions from Jay Parmar, who delivers guest solos on “Pulse” and “Magnolia Ave.” The album’s artwork and logo were created by Mark Bridgeman, with photography by Kai Hansen.

Dimitry comments:

“This is my sixth studio album and most complete musical statement to date. Ten tracks of instrumental prog metal that represent three years of creative evolution, with every instrument performed and produced by myself.  The title completes a cycle that began with my first EP “Evolution” in 2008 – this album represents the final chapter of that journey. Beyond the personal evolution, the title also reflects on contemporary social themes: the unnecessary and potentially risky overuse of AI, cyber media, and information overload in our modern world. From the haunting opener “Undercurrent” – a powerful metaphor reflecting on historical events of our century – through complex compositions and soaring melodies, this album takes you on an epic musical journey without words.”
