Enslaved premiere live track “Isa,” shares update on a new album

Posted by on May 9, 2017

Next Friday (19) Enslaved will release their live album entitled Roadburn Live via By Norse/Burning World Records. The set is from their 2015 performance at the Roadburn Festival in Tilburg, Netherlands. Less than two weeks away, the band shared the tune “Isa” which will be included on the live release.

Pre-orders for Roadburn Live are still available and you can pick up your copy here.

It has been since 2015’s In Times and despite the departure from keyboardist Herbrand Larsen late last year, the band are in a good place for a new record.

It looks like they wrapped up their final recording session:

We just had the most amazing last recording session for the upcoming album; gathering threads and realizing visions at Kjetil Grutle ‘s Overlook Hotel in Auklandshamn. Thanks to Daniel from D’AccorD for popping by and delivering some magical flute sounds!

It is shaping up for quite the album, if you will allow us a lack of humility for a minute!”
