Post-metal masters Neurosis have been around for a while, and by ‘a while’ we mean 30 years. Some of you weren’t even born when these guys decided to revolutionize the metal genre and create a unique style of their own and become the influence of an infinity of bands out there. That much prestige needs some sort of celebration and the band already have plans for it by initially announcing a 30th anniversary set for 2016’s Roadburn Festival in Tilburg, The Netherlands but the band decided to bring that sweet set to the US.

The band will play next year in San Francisco, CA a 2-nights show, with 2+ hours of music each, a setlist spanning their entire discography from their debut record Pain of Mind to their latest release Honor Found in Decay. If that wasn’t enough, the band will have the support of stoner doom dealers Sleep on the first night and minimalist rock Shellac on the second night.

The shows are scheduled for March 4th and 5th of 2016 but meanwhile, you can get sort of a taste of it by catching Scott Kelly on tour with Corrections House’ bandmate Bruce Lamont next month on their west coast tour to be announced soon.

Black Metal enthusiast from Los Angeles who thought was a good idea to grab a camera and shoot underground shows for the hell of it. Pseudo-writer with little to no expectations of ever winning a Pulitzer but totally down to write about your unknown band if it's good to my ears. I enjoy long walks on the beach, deep conversation, holding hands and attending Satanic music shows every now and then.
