If you keep wondering how much your favorite bands make when they head out on the road, Billboard‘s Boxscore released their latest batch of earnings and attendance from many artists, including rock and metal ones, and we’ve summarized them here for you.
This week, we have some fairly known names on our list that we believe you care to know how successful they are while on tour. We have seen the big guys’ numbers like Kiss, Megadeth, or System of a Down but what about those smaller players who you still consider them to do good in general? That’s the perspective we’re trying to bring so you can make your judgement next time you think on skipping their shows cause “they will make money anyway.” These are the bands who order extra guacamole on their meals.

Alright, let’s take a look at those numbers. We have seen Chris Cornell and Ghost selling out their shows during their last run but that’s no surprise as they have made a name on their own and their fan base are loyal to the core. Bring Me The Horizon have some solid numbers which also aren’t a surprise considering their latest album That’s the Spirit was their highest ranking release of their career. What I feel puzzled about is to see those Abbath numbers in Australia and just makes me wonder: what the hell, Aussies?! You complain about not getting enough bands touring your murderous country, yet, you only get less than 200 people to see Abbath when in town? TesseracT made a ton of money in your lands! He made just a little bit over Deafheaven and Tribulation but at least they sold 75% of their tickets. For shame!
