If you keep wondering how much your favorite bands make when they head out on the road, Billboard‘s Boxscore released their latest batch of earnings and attendance from many artists, including rock and metal ones, and we’ve summarized them here for you.

It’s been a few weeks since we reminded you how broke your band is and the astronomical amounts of money your favorite musicians while having fun playing on stage and partying with their groupies backstage. This week, we will show you how much a band makes during Fall which is the busiest season for metal in the US and probably the slowest one to the bigger rock stars you listen on the radio. You may have noticed we threw in some international shows in there to put in perspective how seasonality works. Kiss is Kiss and we get that but if you compare how much they play, let’s say here in the US, compared to Australia, is obvious you’d see numbers closing to the million during a period they probably wouldn’t make that much in the states. Kadavar in Mexico wasn’t too bad but half attendance isn’t good either and that’s because Mexico is becoming a bigger summer market than years ago or maybe because they know they have a Knotfest coming to their country at the end of the year. Chris Cornell is doing fantastic on his solo run, just like everyone’s favorite Ghost on their US run this year so they definitely took advantage of the fall market.

Never forget that, at some point, long running bands started just like you are now, even bands like D.R.I who are probably making, well, possibly less than years ago but still, you can be the next Foo Fighters if you keep dreaming.
