Atlanta alternative metalcore outfit Misty Eyed are gearing up for their new EP, Samsara, out October 29th via 59 X Records. Today (9th), the group has teamed up with Metal Insider to premiere their new song “It’s Goin’ Down.” The group’s overall style mixes influences from the ’00s with Halestorm, and Five Finger Death Punch combined with their heavy fresh perspective. 

Vocalist Megan Burke comments on the single:

“‘It’s Goin’ Down’ is meant to be a hyped party song on the surface with dark undertones hinting at the dark side of partying. We wanted to have a song that people really could jump to and have a good time to, but we wanted to have the caution behind it. Go to parties and have fun, but be smart.”
