We’ve known since last year that Unearth had signed with eOne since they let it out of the bag via a banner at the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival. And they’ve been starting to play new songs from their long-awaited album, including at Heavy Montreal. Well, today, the band have finally released some information about the new album. Watchers of Rule.  The band’s sixth full-length will be released on October 28th.  The album was produced by Mark Lewis, who’s worked with Whitechapel and Devildriver, as well as produced their last album, 2011’s Darkness in the Light.

To commemorate the new album, the band will be heading out on tour with Darkest Hour, Carnifex, Origin, I the Breather and Black Crown Initiate for a brief ten-day tour. The “Hell or High Wattage” tour will kick off on October 13th and include three Canadian dates and seven American ones. Here’s what the band’s Trevor Phipps said about the tour:

“Greetings heavy metal enthusiasts! We here at Unearth industries are all whipped up about the phenomenal tour package you see before you. Come see some of the realest motherfuckers in the game do what they do best. Delivering top shelf metal that’s heavier than a mountain of manatees straight to you face from high atop 1-4 foot stages. So fuel up on Coco Pebbles and Jäger and come get wild!”
