This has been a long time coming – we heard Unearth play a new song at Heavy Montreal last month, but it was over a year ago that they announced they had signed to eOne after spending the majority of their career on Metal Blade Records. The song they played last month was called “The Swarm,” and it’s a ferocious one. This sounds like a band that’s undergoing a creative renaissance, that may be hungry again now that they’re on a new label. In short, it sounds like they’re playing with something to prove. Revolver premiered the song earlier today, also announcing that the new album, Watchers of Rule, will be out on October 28th. You can pre-order the album here.
