Let’s face it, it’s very easy to be jaded when it comes to metal. Every song from every band you’ve ever liked is available online, recording technology has advanced enough so anyone can record an album or make a YouTube video, and there’s nothing new out there. Right? Wrong! Meet Mr Marcaille, who’s burning up the metal internet as you read this.

For lack of a better description, the one-man act is a cellist. However, he plays the cello distorted and with a double kick drum, while in his underwear. The whole thing sounds weird and looks even weirder, but dude can shred the cello, and his voice sounds like Lemmy on the sixth day of a seven-day speed bender.

We checked out his Facebook page, and the guy’s got an album out that you can check out on Bandcamp. kill! kill! kill! has songs called “It’s Time to Freak,” “Wall of Death” and “Andre the Giant,” and it’s solid stuff, even if you don’t get the benefit of seeing him shred in his underwear.
