Suddenly Megadeth hanging out with Pee-wee Herman isn’t as bizarre. Mastodon posted the picture above of them posing with none other than Barney the friendly dinosaur and friends on Facebook yesterday (November 17). We’re not exactly sure how this pairing came to be, though we’d imagine that Mastodon playing in Indianapolis the same night that Barney’s live tour was in town had something to do with it. Although, we doubt that Mastodon will ever appear on TV or stage with Barney and friends, even though this video proves that Mastodon and puppets is a great combo. It certainly would be a weirder combo than Mastodon and Feist, though.
