Upstate New York legends Brick-By-Brick have been working on an album they’ve titled, Collapse that is due to come out on April 25th with a release party on April 26th, they have dropped an epic cover of “Thunder Kiss 65” that truly drives what I’m hoping is a resurgence of a deeper love for Rob Zombie.
Brick-By-Brick represents so much more than community for me as someone who was trying to figure out if I had a place in the empire capital. I would spend 40 hour shifts at the hospital, watching the most devastating things happen, and then go to Boogies and get my soul back. The safety of that venue was entirely thanks to the members of this band, and the community they commanded out of people who entered a venue. Those were the best days.
The fact that Brick-By-Brick threw down a new album is a marvel in my eyes and a perfect set up of an ode to what feels like a true Zombie apocalypse.
