Let There Be Rock School has added another rock star to their Camp Rock Star event taking place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from February 21 through February 24, 2019. Bassist Rex Brown of Pantera and Down will be working with aspiring rock stars along side Virus Karkos from Rock of Ages on Broadway and Big and Rich, and KYNG drummer Pepe Clarke.
Brown expressed his excitement:
“I cannot wait to bring some love to Camp Rock Star this year. It’ll be a swinging, movin’ and groovin’ time. And to think of all the new friends we’ll be making. See ya soon.”
As band directors, these real life rock stars will be sharing their experiences with todays youth and adults alike in the form of daily lessons, question-and-answer sessions, rehearsals, and live performances.
By allowing participants to interact and jam with these larger than life musicians, Let There Be Rock School hopes to give participants a once in a lifetime experience and valuable life lessons that they will take with them for the rest of their lives.
Also included, will be meet-and-greets with the band directors as well as autograph and picture sessions.
