The Ghost Inside get benefit cover by Crystal Lake

CrystalLake_Promo_Image_2015In the face of tragedy, it’s been inspiring to see the metal and hardcore community rally around The Ghost Inside. Their November bus accident killed two and everyone in the band was injured, with drummer Andrew Tkaczyk losing a leg and the rest of the band spending time in rehabiliation as well. Epitaph is putting all proceeds of their album and merch sales toward the band’s hospital stay, and bands like Stray from the Path and Bring Me the Horizon have helped out as well. Since the November accident, a crowdfunding campaign has raised over $157,000, but it’s not over yet.

Artery Recordings band Crystal Lake has covered the band’s “Wide Eyed,” with the band and label donating all proceeds towards the campaign. The song also features Yosh from Survive Said the Prophet, which means absolutely nothing to us, but check it out when you get a chance. You can pick it up here if you want to help the cause.
