Andrew TkaczykIf you aren’t a fan of The Ghost Inside, we can understand that, but we believe you should at least become a fan of the guys’ determination after the bus accident they had last year. The aftermath of the incident left the band with several injuries including guitarist Zach Johnson losing his toes and drummer Andrew Tkaczyk without his right leg. But that never stopped them from pushing themselves to a full recovery,or even play music as proved by Tkaczyk on a recent video of him playing drums for the first time after the crash.

Tkaczyk posted a video on his Instagram playing drums for the first time after he lost his leg, showing an inspiring determination that could move mountains. He said the following about the matter:

Today was a huge baby step. I sat behind a drum kit for the first time since the accident, and it felt incredible. EVERY encouraging word and support from you all has gotten me to this point. I may not reply to every single person, but I’ve read EVERY single message/comment etc. from every single one of you. Thank you all so much for being on my side on this journey, it means more than words can describe. Also couldn’t have done this without my TGI family and friends. Also my amazing sponsors at @sjcdrums@zildjiancompany And @vicfirth You’re fuel to my fire, now watch me burn.

The Ghost Inside is planning to get back on stage as soon as humanly possible and have already scheduled their first appearance on 2017’s Vans Warped Tour which you should definitely go to if you have the chance.
