Why should major label bands be the only ones who get love? Unsigned & Streamed is a column where we stream a song from an unsigned band we at Metal Insider really dig.
This week, we’re excited to shine a light on Västerås, Sweden’s Zavod. Formed in 2006, this three-piece machine draws inspiration from their industrial hometowns. Thanks to their visual live performance and dark music, Zavod have gained a loyal fan base both in their local metal scene and around the world. And this past January, the band released their debut album Industrial City via all digital outlets. Zavod’s mystique sound blends the heavy riffs of Rammstein with Ministry’s gritty vocals. So without further ado, take a listen to the song “Panzer,” the first track off of Zavod’s debut album Industrial City, in the stream below.

In addition, Zavod is hoping to perform more in Sweden and around the world, as well as film a music video. You can keep up to date on Zavod’s upcoming plans via their website and Facebook page, while their album Industrial City can be purchased via Amazon and iTunes or streamed on Spotify.
