Featuring Slipknot’s Corey Taylor and Jim Root, Stone Sour certainly fit the description Mustaine previously stated. Plus, considering that Stone Sour have become pretty big in their own right (most recently cracking the top 10 with House of Gold & Bones Part 2), we could easily see Stone Sour being second to last on the billing. And while they certainly play more mainstream sounding rock compared to Slipknot, they’re still a pretty heavy band and could work well on the same bill as Megadeth.
