Honorable Mention: Static-X Reunites… Sort Of
Wayne Static essentially put Static-X in a coma for two years while pursuing a solo career. Well, in the summer of 2012, Wayne announced that Static-X were back! Well…sort of. Not only was Wayne the only original/previous member apart of this “reunion,” but the new lineup was made up of musicians who he previously worked on during his solo outing. In fact, the new Static-X even performed a song off of Wayne’s solo album, “Assassins Of Youth.” It also didn’t take long for the new Static-X to go through a few hiccups, including canceling dates and losing a bassist. As far as we know, though, the latest incarnation of Static-X is still breathing.
