4. Dokken’s Classic Lineup Reunites…Long Enough For One Interview
In November 2009, George Lynch and Jeff Pilson joined Dokken onstage for two songs during their set in Anaheim, CA. This gave way to the guitarist revealing that Dokken’s “classic” lineup was working on towards reuniting. Lynch and Don Dokken even appeared on an episode of That Metal Show together in May 2010 to show that they were back on good terms. However, the honeymoon was short-lived, as Lynch revealed a few months later that the reunion was officially called off (pointing the blame towards, surprise, the Dokken frontman).
Don continued on with his version of the band, while the other members of the classic lineup would go on to form T&N, recording new material and Dokken’s hits with other singers. Watch Don and George’s (last) appearance together on That Metal Show below.
