It’s a good thing that Worship Music was such a triumphant comeback of an album, because otherwise, Anthrax would’ve had a lot of explaining to do. When John Bush of Armored Saint joined the ‘Thrax in 1992, he had a healthy 12-year run in the band. Then they decided to do a reunion with the “classic” lineup and perform Among the Living in its entirety. But when the band reconvened after the reunion tour, it was without Belladonna. The band soldiered on with Dan Nelson and made history together. Oh wait, no they didn’t. They recorded Worship Music in between 2007 and 2009, then fired him and brought back John Bush for some live shows. Then they finally re-reunited with Belladonna. Now they’re going on tour and will perform Among the Living in its entirety. And the cycle begins again…
