Honorable Mention: Faith No More
Granted, it’s extremely unlikely that the band would agree to do a residency in Vegas. Even if they did, it’s a little questionable as to whether they would have the drawing power to pack a 4,000-seat arena for 15 days. With that being said, we could see the band going all out and embracing the inherent cheesiness of a Vegas act. The band’s already done ironic/non-ironic covers of the Commodores’ “Easy,” the Bee Gees’ “I Started a Joke,” and more recently, Peaches and Herb’s “Reunited.” If anyone could pull off the lounge lizard act, it’d be Mike Patton, and the rest of the band would follow along.
