Marilyn Manson has digitally released his haunting cover of Phil Collins’ classic 1981 hit “In The Air Tonight.” The track is paired with a new song, “As Sick As The Secrets Of (Sleep),” both now available on streaming platforms.
Manson has long been known for transforming iconic tracks into something uniquely his own, such as Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This),” Soft Cell’s “Tainted Love,” and more. Each cover carries his signature ominous edge, and “In The Air Tonight” is no exception. The song’s dark, cinematic tone feels tailor-made for a modern horror film. Originally released as a limited-edition CD, capped at 4,000 copies.
The shock rocker is hitting the road next month for a spring headlining tour. The second leg of the trek will kick off later this year, all in support of his latest album, 2024’s One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1.
