Metal Inside(r) Home Quarantine is Metal Insider’s new column during this time of isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We asked artists five questions on what’s been keeping them busy ranging from their favorite movies, food they’ve been eating, music they’ve been listening to and more. We caught up with SeeYouSpaceCowboy’s Cameron Phipps as he’s been spending this time listening to more podcasts. 

What have you been doing to pass time during Quarantine?

Playing guitar and drawing in 30 minute increments.

Have you been listening to any music or have any playlists worth checking out?

Legit have just listened to Metallica albums 2-4.

A lot of people have been spending this time cooking including making their own bread, what food have you been prepping during this time?

I made pancakes the other day but I try to cook most of my meals, so I’m not really out of my element here

In terms of entertainment, what movies, TV shows, books, or games have been keeping you busy?

Started Ozark, I listen to more podcasts though. Worst Possible Timeline, Reply All, The Story Must Be Told, axe2grind, and Last Podcast On The Left.

What advice do you have for your fans in isolation during this time?

Keep an ongoing conversation with someone or multiple people about how you’re doing. Being isolated like this I have definitely felt like I’ve lost my mind a little bit but as long as you’re not losing real world connections you will be okay.
