COVID-19 strikes again! Hatebreed is postponing their 9th studio album due to closure of retail and pressing plants. Frontman, Jamey Jasta posted this updated via Twitter after responding to a fan.

Thanx you too, album is postponed indefinitely. I’m told retail + pressing plants in EU & N. America will be closing or are closed already making manufacturering/pre-orders impossible. Our fans buy a lot of vinyl/CDs so the label needs to protect their investment understandably

However, Jasta did mention that he might release the digital version in a few weeks:

I’m thinking about it. Might release digitally in a few weeks from now & physical later on.

Like most bands, Hatebreed has been hit hard from the COVID-19 pandemic and had to cancel their North American tour with After the Burial. However, they were able to reschedule their European dates with Parkway Drive, which can be found here.

In the meantime, check out Hatebreed’s latest track, “When the Blade Drops” or Jasta’s latest endeavor, “Black Alpaca.”
