I’ts been 15 years since Pantera’s last album, Reinventing the Steel, but they continue to be one of the most influential bands in metal. If you’re looking for proof of that, look no further than the fact that yesterday, two Pantera covers by bands made their way online. Florida deathcore band Traitors released their cover of “Five Minutes Alone” from 1994’s Far Beyond Driven, which is a little slower and a lot deathcore-ier than the original.

Also, the tour between Sylosis and Wovenwar resulted in a cover of Cowboys From Hell‘s “Domination.” Sylosis singer/guitarist Josh Middleton and drummer Ali Richardson teamed up with Wovenwar guitarists Phil Sgrosso and Nick Hipa and bassist Josh Gilbert for their cover. Professionally shot footage of that has surfaced and is on Sylosis’ Facebook page. That can be seen below:

Full video of Josh and Ali covering Pantera ‘Domination’ with Phil, Josh, and Nick of WOVENWAR! An amazing end to an amazing tour! Thank you once again to everyone who made it out to a show. We will be back!
