San Diego Deathgrinders, Cattle Decapitation, announced the details on their upcoming full-length titled The Anthropocene Extinction set to be released on August 7th via Metal Blade Records.

The album seems to strive for a larger production scale with the addition of musical guests like Phil Anselmo, Author & Punisher’s Tristan Shone, and Bethlehem’s Jürgen Bartsch. The band even felt the need to rehash their own logo to look even more aggressive than what it already was.

Along with the announcement, a new single “Manufactured Extinct” has been released giving a small glimpse of what we can expect from their follow-up to their critically acclaimed 2012’s Monolith of Inhumanity.

The band has several festival appearances confirmed including Heavy Montreal, Armstrong Metalfest, Bay Area Death Fest and even Witchfest 2016 in Johannesburg, South Africa but with this news, we can safely assume there will be plans to tour later on the year.
