The last time we saw Rob Zombie on TV, he was making a slasher film for Woolite. Now the Halloween and The Devils Rejects director is at it again, this time for Amdro ant killer. In “Death Note,” the first of three commercials for the ant killer, Zombie regular Clint Howard (who appeared in his upcoming The Lords of Salem as well as Halloween), goes insane, screaming and making a ransom note to ants. It’s dark, odd, and unmistakably Zombie. “Working with Clint again was a blast,” Zombie told FEARnet. “Actually, it worked out great since the agency wanted a Clint Howard type for the spot. So naturally I said ‘How about if I just call the real guy and see if he’s interested?’ He was, and the rest is ant-killing history.”
