Last year, Rob Zombie launched The Great American Nightmare in California. The 15 night long event received accolades for its massive stand-alone haunted house, and also featured performances from the likes of Andrew WK, The Used and Reel Big Fish and Zombie himself. This year, though, Zombie’s Nightmare is moving to Scottsdale, AZ (right outside of Phoenix).
The second annual Great American Nightmare will take place from September 19 to November 1 and include three different attractions. First, The Lords of Salem in Total Black Out, second, Captain Spaulding’s Clown School in 3D, and finally The Devil’s Rejects. There will also be a “Bloody Boulevard” featuring freak shows, roaming characters, themed foods, music and more.
If that wasn’t enough, Rob Zombie will also be performing on opening night with a one-night-only concert. “The first year was such a blast,” Zombie declared. “I am thrilled to be able to take the Great American Nightmare to a new city this year. My only goal is to make it even sicker than last year.” Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday (the 13th, of course) at 10am PDT via the event’s website, where a full list of date, and hours of operation can also be found.
