After two years of nonstop hard work, it looks like DevilDriver are on their way to completing their double album. Yesterday (2nd), frontman Dez Fafara shared an image of 20 folders via his Instagram as he explained the tedious process he’s gone through for what could be the group’s “finest defining moment as a band.”
The group has worked with producer Steve Evetts (The Dillinger Escape Plan) and things have been looking promising for this album to be released sometime this year since we saw Fafara recording vocals for it back in January. Hopefully, it will arrive before the group’s summer tour with Static-X.
Dez commented:
“This is what two years and hard work looks like -20 folders filled from hand written lyrics to typed then finished – @devildriver@napalmrecordsofficial#DealingWithDemons -I’m gonna jump in my pool and fucking swim wash all this aaaaaaway ! I left everything on the table if this was my last I would be proud to go out like this ! @steveevetts produced what is our finest defining moment as a band GET READY !”
