While we are still waiting to see if Kid Rock is serious about running for senate, he is taking over the restaurant business, well at least in downtown Detroit. The American badass (and possible American senator?) is launching Kid Rock’s Made in Detroit, a contemporary food and music restaurant, which will be part of the almost-finished Little Caesars Arena.

The restaurant was created by Delaware North in a collaboration with Kid Rock and the 230 seat restaurant will offer a menu consisting of classic Detroit and Southern-style dishes, amongst comfort and bar food. Unfortunately, there’s no Bawitababq or Deviled Eggs Without a Cause on the menu just yet, but there will be local beers and craft cocktails for guests to enjoy. Aside from the food and Kid Rock décor, the place will feature a live music stage which is geared towards up-and coming musicians.
