A medical examiner has revaled that Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell died as a result of hanging at the MGM Grand in Detroit. The Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that the his cause of death was “suicide by hanging.” A full autopsy report, which will include toxicology reports, hasn’t been completed yet. Cornell was 52, and while his wife had apparently said that he wasn’t suicidal, that tragically appears to not be the case. Cornell leave behind his wive, Vicky, and three children, one from a previous marriage.
