Summers are known for extensive festivals and touring packages around the world; 70’s, 80’s and ’90s acts uniting together and a wide amount of shows to choose from. We heard about Rammstein and Iron Maiden’s announcements, and Guns n’ Roses are coming back too. While we are still waiting for Metallica’s tour to be announced, another major announcement has been made including 70s Rock legends Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, and The Edgar Winter Band. Produced by Live Nation, the tour will stop in 19 cities across North America and it will be part of Deep Purple’s “Long Goodbye” tour in addition to promoting their 20th studio album Infinite out April 7. It kicks off on August 12 at the Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and concludes on September 2 at the Budweiser Stage in Toronto, Canada.
Tickets go on sale this Friday (3) at Livenation.com. A pre-sale will be available to American Express cardholders on Wednesday (1) at 12:00 PM local time. Additional pre-sales will be available via livenation.com, Live Nation app, and facebook on (2) at 10:00 am local time.
