Mötley Crüe’s Final Tour Will Likely Include Alice Cooper

crue cooper final tourIt’s pretty much a sure thing that Mötley Crüe will announce plans for a farewell tour during a press event in L.A. on January 28. Still need more proof? Well thanks to a leaked poster, we have said proof AND knowledge of who’ll be opening.

In a tweet that appears to have been quickly deleted, radio personality/That Metal Show co-host Eddie Trunk supposedly shared the image above. If that image is legit, then it would appear to not only confirm Mötley Crüe’s “final” tour plans, but also that Alice Cooper will be providing support on the trek. Considering that no one expects this farewell tour to be a short jaunt, it’s unclear to what extent the shock rock legend will be a part of the tour.

While all clues point to the “big announcement” being a farewell tour, there’s probably a lot more to be revealed (Will Cooper be the only opener?  Where is the tour actually going to stop? Will Mick Mars be put into permanent storage after the tour’s finished?). We’ll probably get a lot more answers from both the press event and the band’s recently announced appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live that same day.
