While Suicidal Tendencies’ 11th album, 13, was released last year, the band decided to wait until Easter (or as they called it, EaSTer) to unveil a video from the album. “Slam City” is about moshing, and as you’d expect, t here’s plenty of pit action in the video. The bands Facebook page reads “Sometimes you just need to hit the pit…and Slam!” Amen to that. The video was produced by Australian director Luke Sorensen who directed their previous video for “I feel your pain…and I survive.” It was filmed on the bands French tour last October and the Persistence tour this January. If you’ve ever logged time in a mosh pit at an ST show, you’ll definitely be able to relate.
