Watch the full Rock In Rio USA set from Metallica

Posted by on May 11, 2015

Metallica have been laying pretty low in 2015 so far, hopefully to work on their album. In fact, other than playing a corporate party, the only show they had on their schedule this year was the Rock In Rio USA festival in Las Vegas that took place over the weekend. The inaugural festival, which will also take place this coming weekend with a more pop-oriented roster, was headlined this past Saturday by Metallica. Some fans got a very close up view of the set, as they were essentially the backdrop to the show, watching the band from behind the stage. Professionally-shot footage of the show has surfaced online, so if you want to see what Metallica looks like in 2015 (pretty much the same, down to “Lords of Summer” being the only new song we’re hearing from the band in two Summers), check it out. Here’s what they played:

The Ecstasy of Gold (Ennio Morricone song)
Master of Puppets
King Nothing
Disposable Heroes
Kirk´s Doodle
Welcome Home (Sanitarium)
Lords of Summer
The Unforgiven
Sad But True
Robert´s Doodle
Turn the Page
For Whom the Bell Tolls
Kirk´s Doodle
Nothing Else Matters
Enter Sandman
Whiskey in the Jar
Creeping Death
Seek & Destroy
