Deftones wrap up two weeks of writing

Posted by on October 31, 2014

In February, Deftones vocalist Chino Moreno told Rolling Stone that the band would be taking the year off. A few weeks later, in an interview with Soundwave TV, he said the rest of the band was already writing new material.

But now the band has recently posted a photo (below) to Facebook, with the caption, “Wrapping up 2 weeks of writing.”

The latest Deftones studio album, Koi No Yokan, came out in November of 2012, so it looks like a three year gap with a 2015 release is a possibility. The band will be headlining the Sunset Stage at the first-ever U.S. edition of Rock In Rio, in Las Vegas, NV on May 8th-9th and May 15th-16th, 2015.
