Nine months since the release of Paper Wolf, the Danish-Swedish group Vola have unveiled a video for their new single “Break My Lying Tongue.” The track is taken from the progressive quartet’s new fourth studio album, Friend of a Phantom, out November 1st via Mascot Records. With powerful drums and acting as the battery in charge by Adam Janzi, this new single continues to demonstrate a taste for what’s to come. The use of synthesizers by Martin Werner plays an important role, allowing Nicolai Mogensen to introduce the rapid sound of the basslines. At the same time, extraordinary vocals pierce through with Asger Mygind, making one extraordinary delivery.
The band has also announced their Friend of a Phantom European Tour, kicking off in November. Tickets are available at this location.

Janzi comments:

“It is very tough with all the travelling, short nights, and intense work. But it is so rewarding! Playing music, meeting nice people from all over the world, and seeing these places. Culture is important!
There is always the pressure of continuing to climb the mountain. Embracing change and whatever new chapters may wait around the corner is a way to make life more enjoyable.”
