It takes time to master any craft, and music is no different. When you think on heavy music, it’s common to contemplate and ground stomping, low-sounding pounds and riffs that only have the purpose to sound aggressive but creating something inspired and well-written requires skill and that’s where A Wake In Providence come in.

After releasing their highly praised EP, Insidious, in 2015, the New York deathcore quartet are putting all their efforts to have new a new production ready for next year, but they decided to give us a taste of what’s yet to come with the new single “The Imperfect: Iconoclast.” Guitarist Josh Freeman comments about the video:

We are super excited to unveil our new single “The Imperfect : Iconoclast.” We’ve put so much work into this and couldn’t be more proud of how it came out, its a change from our previous material but we think it’s a change for the better and we think everyone will feel the same! To everyone who supports we want to give very big thank you!

If you happen to live around the Empire State, we recommend you catching the band on stage during their short but sweet run with Lorna Shore and In Depths & Tides at any of the following dates:

8/11 – Howell, NJ @ Gamechanger World
8/12 – Allentown, PA @ Planet Trog
8/13 – New York, NY @ Webster Hall
8/14 – Amityville, NY @ Revolution Music Hall

Black Metal enthusiast from Los Angeles who thought was a good idea to grab a camera and shoot underground shows for the hell of it. Pseudo-writer with little to no expectations of ever winning a Pulitzer but totally down to write about your unknown band if it's good to my ears. I enjoy long walks on the beach, deep conversation, holding hands and attending Satanic music shows every now and then.
