While many in the Northeast celebrated Halloween without electricity, Megadeth celebrated the spooky holiday in L.A., performing on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! in costume. The band stuck to classic costumes, with Dave Mustaine dressed as Frankenstein, David Ellefson as the Wolfman, Shawn Drover as Dracula, and Chris Broderick as the Phantom of the Opera. It’s actually a pretty fitting costume for Mustaine, since a recent neck injury made him as stiff as Frankenstein for a while.
Not only was it fun to watch the band show off their Halloween spirit, but Megadeth also sounded greating, performing a new song off the album TH1RT3EN (in stores today) and a classic. You can watch the band tear into “Public Enemy No. 1” on the show in the video above, while you can watch the band playing “Symphony Of Destruction” after the jump.
