Trivium have revealed another new track from their upcoming album, What The Dead Man Say, called “Amongst the Shadows & the Stones.”  The record was produced by the talented Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Soulfly, Of Mice & Men) and drops April 24th via Roadrunner Records. explained how he came up with the title of the song and how it inspired the music to the song:

“The inspiration for the song started when a war history web site that I follow posted a story of a soldier visiting the graves of his fallen comrades and he described it as walking ‘amongst the shadows and the stones. The first thing I came up with was, ‘The ghosts of war will haunt my bones, amongst the shadows and the stones,’ which then inspired the music for the song. But the lyrical subject became something totally different as we got deeper into the songwriting, but that was the spark. Now ‘Amongst The Shadows & The Stones’ captures elements of the heaviest material Trivium has done across our entire catalog.”

In support of this release, the band has set up a virtual in-store, where they will be live signing personalized copies of their album for fans. The livestream will begin on April 27th at 3pm ET at www.trivium.org. Pre-orders can be placed here.
