Song Premiere: Lethal Affection, “Frozen in Time”

Posted by on June 1, 2017

If you’re looking for a new band to champion, look no further than New Jersey’s Lethal Affection. Having entered their fifth year, the New Brunswick quartet are set to debut their full length album, Choose a Side. Produced by God Forbid’s Corey Pierce and mixed by Chris “Zeuss” Harris, the band’s aim is to bring back classic metal in the vein of Iron Maiden with the attitude of vintage Guns N’ Roses. Here’s what the band has to say about “Frozen in Time,” which we’re debuting today:

“Frozen in Time” was one of the first few songs written for the album and we definitely think it’s one of the best. It’s one of those songs that we love playing live as much as we love listening to which is kind of a rare thing. The drums and vocals are killer and it has some of the cooler guitar work on the album. The lyrics reflect the guilt one has over past mistakes. This guilt, or lost sense of pride, often leads one to feel as though they are stuck in one place, or “Frozen in Time.”

The band will be playing today (1) at the Knitting Factory for “Loud Love: Tribute to Chris Cornell and on August 26th at the Ride For Dime East Coast Chapter at Starland Ballroom. You can download and listen to the track on iTunes here and stream it on Spotify here.
