Queens of the Stone Age have revealed their highly anticipated eighth studio album, In Times New Roman…, scheduled to arrive on June 16 via Matador. The album showcases the band’s raw and brutal sound while expanding their sonic signature with new and unique twists. The record will play more like a tribute to the beauty beneath scars and scabs. To celebrate the reveal, the band has unveiled a Liam Lynch-directed lyric video for the first single, “Emotion Sickness. The album was recorded and mixed at Homme’s Pink Duck studio, produced by QOTSA and mixed by Mark Rankin. The artwork and double LP gatefold packaging were designed by longtime collaborator Boneface.
