A few months back, we introduced you to Lattermath. The Boston prog-metallers, whose debut album was released earlier this month, have been around since 2010, when the Berklee grad students formed as a writing project. The band are heavy, melodic and progressive, often within the same song. While guitarist Ben Cohen might be better-known as the guitarist of Powerglove, this release should put the rest of the band on the map really quickly. Today, we’re proud to premiere the band’s first non-lyric video, “Trench.” Here’s what the band says about the clip:

“The song “Trench” has a creepy, horror-movie vibe throughout, so we wanted the video to really accentuate that. We used lots of close-ups to make the viewer feel claustrophobic. Ladies of Metal Model of the Month for March, Mary Tsunami, (who starred in the video) did an amazing job as well.”

Lattermath’s self-titled debut is out now. You can pick it up here and other DSP’s and pick up the compact disc on their Bandcamp
