Gothic doom legends Paradise Lost have released a video for their latest single, “Serpent on the Cross.” The track is the second single taken from their forthcoming 17th studio album, Ascension, scheduled to arrive on September 19th via Nuclear Blast Records.

“The cross represents stability, prosperity, hope and happiness. The serpent represents trepidation, anguish and overbearing sadness, lurking in the shadows ready to take everything away.”
