Dutch black/death metal masters God Dethroned have released a video for their latest single, “The Judas Paradox.” The track is the title track from their upcoming album, scheduled to arrive on September 6th via Reigning Phoenix Music. The song delves into the biblical tale of Judas, offering a unique perspective on betrayal and the events surrounding Jesus, narrated through haunting choral chants.
Vocalist/guitarist Henri “The Serpent King” Sattler comments:
“The title track of the album! The song talks about Judas Iscariot, who speaks about the events surrounding the betrayal of Jesus Christ from his point of view. It’s a topic which holds the world in its grip since the story became public knowledge. Musically it’s the most atmospheric and melody driven song on the album.”
