A new trailer for David Fincher’s upcoming film Mank has been released. The two-and-a-half minute clip also gives a taste of the score written for the film by Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.
Starring Gary Oldman, Mank tells the story of screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz and his work on the 1941 Orson Welles film Citizen Kane.
This isn’t the first time Reznor and Ross have worked with Fincher. In 2010, the duo wrote the Golden Globe-winning score to Fincher’s The Social Network. They wrote score’s for his next two films as well, 2011’s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and 2014’s Gone Girl, the former of which won a Grammy for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media.
The trailer can be viewed below. Mank hits select theaters in November and Netflix on December 4. Behind the scenes photos from the film set and an extended clip of the score can be found here.
