Yesterday, Babymetal released a teaser clip for their sophomore album, Metal Resistance that featured a brief snippet of the album’s first single, “Karate.” After getting premiered on BBC Radio One yesterday, the song made it’s online debut today via Vevo and Spotify. Metal Sucks describes the song as a “metalcore/Sumeriancore hybrid, only not as dated-sounding as that description might suggest.” That’s an apt way of summing up the song. All we know is that we have the super catchy chorus in our head, even though we have no idea what they’re singing.

Metal Resistance will be out worldwide on April 1, and will be followed in May by tour dates that can be seen below.
